Basic Information

  • Kyle.

    Ky-Kye. Crop-Top. Memez.

    The Ultimate Meme Lord, as some may call.

  • Kyle’s affiliated with The Meme Squad, a group of Escapists, otherwise known as criminals, in a world where pranks are illegal.

    His role is to create, encourage, direct, and play a big part in the Squad’s prank development. He’s the ‘mastermind’ behind most prank ideas, the public ones in particular, as it was initially his idea to prank people who aren’t just his friends.

    In Volume 1, he’s the proclaimed leader of the Meme Squad, a prankster, and a friend.

  • His first appearance is in the beginning of Book 1.

    • Kyle is 5’5 ft (165 cm)

    • He has brown hair, brown eyes, tan skin, and is typically seen wearing red t-shirts and sunglasses.

  • The distinguishing feature would probably have to be the red t-shirts. But if people want more details, then it’d be the little tag at the back of his collar that’s always hanging out.

    • Eric

      • His first friend that stuck with him and is in Kyle’s current friend group.

      • They’re best buds and homies for life. Brothers from other mothers’ type friendship. They’re always sneaking into each other’s houses too.

    • Krow

      • The second one to join his current friend group, mostly due to Kyle’s persistence.

      • Best friends, brothers for lifers, friendship till they’re old and laughing about who’s lawn is better.

    • Yin

      • Good friends and considerably a fast friendship. Huge sibling-dynamic, he sees her typically like a younger sister that he either has to annoy or he’ll get annoyed by her instead.

      • Enjoys competing with her and being partners in crime together.

    • Daito

      • This friendship came out of nowhere for Kyle, catching him off guard, but once Daito asked to be friends, Kyle gave up his superstitions and pride and welcomed him in.

      • He still enjoys messing with and teasing Daito. Not the closest friends currently, but still a good friendship.

    • Sebastian

      • Kyle’s known him back in elementary and middle school. He thinks Sebastian is too nosy, but doesn’t have much against him, other than Kyle just being someone to tease people.

      • Other than that, they’re friends.

    • Kali

      • Reluctant friends? He has nothing against Kali, although considering her upbringing into their lives, and the fact she’s his rival’s crush, he sometimes thinks he’s gotta treat her with a lil’ more respect.

      • Other than that, he’ll still prank her. Especially when it makes him laugh.

    • Taint

      • Taint, seen in chapter 8 book2, is an older kid Kyle used to go to school with. Taint’s favorite sport is hockey though, Kyle’s rivaling sport (he doesn’t like it ‘cause Sol likes it). Besides that, they get along well, just don’t talk often.

    • Some other kids

      • Though I haven’t really expanded on it much, Kyle does have a bunch of friends outside of his typical friend group. He’ll talk to just about anyone and as such, has a lot of friends inside and outside of school.

      • He’s only in rivals/enemies because he works under Finch, but he doesn’t know him well enough to consider him an opp. Though, he doesn’t like their last encounter with him outing them at a golf tournament.

    No siblings, though I imagine he actually does have some cousins, though they live in other neighboring cities.
