~Author Bio~

Who the heck is actually writing this series?

My Objective

Writing is my passion. Storytelling is my art. That means quite literally everything I do with my stories is derived from devotion and because I adore the things I write. It’s also my source of comedy, laughter, and meaning.

So my objective is quite literally to have fun and share that kind of story with other people.

You won’t see me writing anything purely just for cash-grabs or what’s expected to be written. That said, I of course would love to invest money into the series for its animation, and I love hearing people’s headcanons, but there’s a fine balance between letting it dictate a story’s meaning and allowing it to exist without overriding the purpose of the story.

  • Writing the Where Snow Doesn’t Fall series (from book 1 to 12), with the addition of free stories and updating this website.

  • Once the series is finished (or close to finishing, depending on how things go), I’m excited because about that time, I’ll start planning its first Pilot Episode and the construction of WSDF being animated.

  • Hopefully! Come around to creating YouTube content! Lol, it’s a goal for sure, but we’ll see how fast I can catch up to it.

  • In the meantime, I’m also brainstorming future series projects. There are three more confirmed series coming after Where Snow Doesn’t Fall, the majority of them containing versions of characters from this series (basically the Meme Squad in different fonts XD)

My Goals

To be honest, the very reason I truly began writing was because I couldn’t find any fanfics with my interests in mind. The few that I do find that are great, are either unfinished, short, or something that just doesn’t resonate with me.

So you can say I was inspired out of the frustration of not finding something good to read.

That’s why my first book series, WSDF, has the quote “I always hated an unfinished fanfic, so I started my own, finished it, and now I’m here.” And that’s on honoring my fanfic days.

That said, I’m inspired by quite a few other things, such as:

  • My own interests / ideas about friendship, comedy, and world-building

  • Making a story that does not glorify suffering, but instead, shows the simplicity of joy.

  • One of the most inspiring things is thinking about how cool scenes I’m writing will look like when it’s animated. AND voice-acted, man that’ll be so frickin’ lit.

  • I really like character depth too. One of my favorite things about writing is the bantering people have and how I can make them have the stupidest details like ‘he never sits criss-crossed because of his superstition’ and I love remembering details like that and making sure it somehow affects the plot.

With that, you could say writing itself inspires me.

What Inspires Me

I’m EllyiN, the author of Where Snow Doesn’t Fall, and writing is my hobby.

Current Development of Collaboration Opportunities

Where Snow Doesn’t Fall (WSDF) is currently in its early stages of development, and its available funding and production resources remain limited. As such, the project is not yet in a position to consistently accommodate paid positions or engage a full production team across areas such as animation, art, marketing, and production management.

However, as WSDF continues to develop and establish its foundations, I welcome inquiries from individuals, professionals, and organizations who believe they may have something valuable to contribute to the series.

I value authenticity, communication, and the ability to create for fun. If you know you got a skill, service, or idea that could benefit WSDF, I encourage you to get in touch.

Every project starts somewhere, and this is an opportunity to begin laying the foundations for what Where Snow Doesn’t Fall may become.
