A New Genre = Scifi-Com

Welcome everybody!! If you’re new here, I’m EllyiN, the author of Where Snow Doesn’t Fall and the future series I plan to write! Today I’ll be going into Where Snow Doesn’t Fall and it’s unique genre.

Sci-fi-comedy. I’m sure that yes, there are other books with the genre, but the way I write it takes it to a whole new level. Everyone will want to follow in my footsteps.

Scifi-com, the narrative that uses futuristic and advanced technology, alternate realities, and funky / unconventional gadgets as a backdrop for comedic conflict, humorous narrative styles, satirical commentary, and absurd scenarios. It emphasizes playful exaggeration, and bold scientific concepts aren’t strictly linked to realism.

If you didn’t already know what it was, or you did know something about it, well, this is what the new meaning is—the one that I’m following.

So we got fancy tech that can do the impossible sometimes, and we got comedy that pretty much is the driving factor of the plot. And don’t forget my drawings—I’m always adding imagery, and it ain’t professionally done, it’s done by the heart. The heart of playful depth and memes.

If any of this interests you, you should definitely look into my book series and check out a book or two! It’s more than just having it, rather it’s the experience of being surprised by the drawings (not knowing what’ll come next), the fun and spontaneous adventures (the next prank, or the next fun events to go to because of a free coupon), and the tension of not knowing how far can the story go without consequences (to be fair, consequences is subjective).
